From dead sticks little shoots grow
And in a matter of days!

You would not believe! It is the wet season which helps a bit

Daisy and I walked around the patch today to see next door's chickens and emus

And so to the botanical gardens for a bit of education re plants and trees from my Tim. His Dad would have been proud

Morning tea at the botanical gardens
Green ants gobbling up a caterpillar
Grandma and Austin share a scone

An interesting walk around the rain forest, creatures to spot, some easier than others

Didn't get to smell the sewerage plant thankfully

There is a sweet little cafe at the botanical gardens, families were gathering, quite a serious meeting was being held and a gent was talking on his phone the whole hour and a half we were there!
Australians, particularly up here in Darwin are so relaxed, it's lovely to see folk wandering around enjoying their surroundings
